Lollapolooza 2010 was frickin’ awesome!

I forgot about these pics I had on my phone. Not only was it an amazing venue (grant park in chicago), it was also the birthplace of my discovery of arcade fire. Thanks Jody for hooking me up with a ticket!

Well, we ended up getting the ‘on-air’ seats in the audience on who wants to be a millionaire. So that means that I’ll be on 3 consecutive tapings of the show starting on february 23rd. Yeah, I’m kind of a big deal… No camera’s inside abc studios tho
We got some street vendor food for brunch. Chicken and rice and a falafel for $9. It’s the best money Ive spent in this town hands down.
We saw lots of semi-celebrities today including the real housewives of new jersey, Atlanta, orange county, and NYC on the taping of millionaire. Then we saw Sal Masakala(sp?) and Bobby something from snl.
2 days of New York is enough! Oh yeah, this cosmetics place reminded me of Kirk…
My cousin and I decided to check out Japan, and I want to go back ASAP! Unfortunately I didn’t have my camera out much for this trip.

Sushi at the convenience store for 300 yen (~$3)

A view from our hotel
We stayed in Minato-ku, which is a buisness district of Tokyo. It was a pretty boring area. Next time I go to Japan, I’ll probably stay somewhere more fun like Shibuya.

lol

This is old Billy. He was shy.

Would be much cooler if I was a smoker.

Fresh off the train, Akiabara

The saddest maid ever

My cousin Daniel loves anime

The colonel and I, kickin' it

They had these places everywhere in Akiabara

Electronics and tools everywhere! That's a face of disbelief.

All that walking and train rides trying to get to Super Autobacs in Shionome made me tired.

BBS and Work Wheels laying around everywhere.

DVDs with dudes from Ziptied in Tokyo. Badass.

GTR BROs.

The Fishmarket!

Sweet Trike.

A little left-hand-drive flavor.

Next time, I’m going back with a better camera and I’m hitting up the Ebisu tracks as well as some of the touge. It was an amazing trip, and I can’t wait to go back!
